Professional padel is officially entering the online betting market. From the 2027 season, every match on the Premier Padel tour, men’s and women’s, will become a regulated betting product fed by official data.
To police the shift, Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation (FIP) have named Sportradar as their integrity partner. The announcement came in London on 28 September 2026.
Sportradar’s job: spot suspicious odds and alert the tour before a fixed match can tarnish the sport.

Padel Betting: What Has Been Announced
Two partnerships make up the set-up.
The first dates from 23 September 2026: iGame Media becomes Premier Padel’s exclusive partner for betting data technology and distribution. In practice, licensed operators will be able to buy official feeds built on data from the umpires in the venue, plus low-latency live streaming. A first for padel.
The second, announced five days later, hands the monitoring to Sportradar. The Swiss group is rolling out its UFDS tool (Universal Fraud Detection System). The system tracks betting activity worldwide, combining AI with human analysts. As soon as an abnormal betting pattern appears on a match, the governing bodies are alerted.
Sportradar also runs prevention education programmes for players, coaches and officials.
Why the FIP Is Locking Down Integrity Before 2027
Opening a sport to official betting creates temptation. A low-ranked player in a P2 first round earns little prize money. A fixed match can pay far more. Tennis learned that lesson the hard way over many years.
So the FIP has stacked up safeguards in advance:
- adoption of the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions;
- work with the IOC’s dedicated unit, including webinars for players, coaches, officials and national federations;
- signature of the World Anti-Doping Code, with a programme run by the International Testing Agency (ITA);
- a future reporting channel on the FIP’s digital platforms.
Andreas Krannich, Executive Vice President of Integrity Services at Sportradar, promises to “identify potential risks at the earliest opportunity”. Luigi Carraro stresses one point: the FIP wants “visibility and oversight of the way official sporting data is used”.
What It Means for Punters and the Tour
For punters, the difference comes down to one word: official. Until now, no operator had access to an official feed from the tour. In 2027, the umpire on site will log every point and pass it on to regulated operators. The expected result: faster, more reliable live markets.
For the tour, it means a new revenue stream. Premier Padel CEO David Sugden says the money will be reinvested in “the professional game, our players, our events and the fan experience”.
One unknown remains: which operators and countries are involved. No names have been given so far. Before the 2027 season, the 2026 tour continues this week with the Rotterdam P2 2026, ahead of the final stops on the Premier Padel calendar.
