Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026: 8.5/10 (My Rating)

bullpadel vertex 05 2026 review

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 is Juan Tello’s signature racket, built for attacking left-side players level 5+, stiffer and more head-heavy than the 2025 version. Avoid it if you play defensively or have a sensitive arm: the limited sweet spot shows no mercy.

✅PROS

  • raw power on smash and finishing shots
  • committed head-heavy balance
  • stiffened frame
  • absorbs vibrations well
  • impressive stability at the net

❌CONS

  • limited tolerance on off-centre hits
  • average comfort
  • avoid if you’re prone to epicondylitis (tennis elbow)

My Review of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 (⭐8.5/10)

First warm-up, first forehand bandeja.

The ball flies straight and fast, with real depth!

The sensation of head-heavy inertia is obvious from the fifth hit.

The frame pushes the swing further than expected.

The flat smash hits hard.

The kicked smash (víbora) stays precise thanks to the stiffened 2026 frame.

On finishing attack shots it’s sharp, direct, brutal.

No second chance for your opponent!

Downside: as soon as you leave the sweet spot, it shows little mercy.

A slightly off-centre hit slaps the fence!

A volley taken a touch high above the centre string falls short.

That’s the deliberate signature of this racket: an attacker’s weapon that punishes soft hitting. Not an all-round racket.

This is where the Vertex 05 impressed me most: the volley.

On a laser volley at shoulder height, the frame doesn’t budge.

No twist, no stray vibration, thanks to the Ease Vibe system.

Blocking an opponent’s víbora 4 metres from the net without your wrist folding: a rare feeling.

It’s more aggressive, sharper, more direct!

Practical consequence: the 05 will be harder to adapt to if you’re coming from a comfort-oriented racket.

Budget 3 to 4 sessions to adapt. Not more, but not less either.

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 earns its 8.5/10 for the player it’s built for.

Attacking left-side player, level 5 minimum, clean technique, strong on smash and bandeja.

For that profile, it’s probably the best Bullpadel frame across the whole 2026 range.

For every other profile, the rating means nothing: look away and check the GEO, Hybrid or CMF versions in the range.

You’ll find what you need there without the classic’s uncompromising stiffness.

Price of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026

Recommended Price and Padel Nuestro Listing

Bullpadel’s recommended price: €339.90.

At Padel Nuestro (official UK retailer), the Vertex 05 2026 is listed at £290.85.

Price and stock can shift — check the retailer page for the current figure.

Case not included.

My Take on the Vertex 05 2026 Price

At this price, the Vertex 05 2026 sits in the upper tier of signature rackets, alongside models like the Nox AT10 Genius 18K and the Adidas Metalbone 3.5.

The value for money holds up for a top-15 world-ranked signature racket.

The increased stiffness justifies the price for a level 5+ player.

Below that, look at the Vertex 05 Hybrid or the Vertex 05 CMF, more forgiving and cheaper.

Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026: Who Is It For?

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 is best suited to this profile:

✅Attacking left-side player looking to end the rally with a decisive smash.

Level 5 minimum: clean technique

✅Already strong on smash, bandeja and víbora.

✅Physically able to handle 370g with a head-heavy balance over a 90-minute match or a full tournament

✅Player who prefers finishing points to building them.

On the other hand, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 is best avoided by these profiles:

❌defensive right-side player

level 4 or below

❌sensitive arm (prone to epicondylitis or tennis elbow)

❌light players (under 65kg)

❌tiki-taka, point-building style

The classic 05 shows no mercy for a sloppy hit.

For these profiles, look at the

  • Vertex 05 GEO by Pablo Cardona (Xplo shape, 541cm² surface, softer 3K carbon)
  • Vertex 05 Hybrid (teardrop shape, wider sweet spot, lower price).

Air Power: +50% Air Channel and +23% Aerodynamics

The 2026 Air Power technology increases the size of the channel on the lower part of the frame by 50%.

Combined with the CurvAktiv update, it improves the racket’s aerodynamics by up to 23% (figures certified by Bullpadel).

In practice: shoulder-height swings on the kicked smash gain head speed.

A direct feel at the strings.

Optimised CurvAktiv: 31.6° Total Tilt

The CurvAktiv system inherited from the Vertex range has been extended on the 2026 model.

The plane tilt gains an extra 11° to reach 31.6° in total.

Goal: maximise energy transfer on impact and stabilise the frame’s lateral torsion.

The effect is felt at the net on a blocked laser volley.

Ease Vibe: 49% Vibration Absorption

The Ease Vibe damping zones absorb up to 49% of the vibrations produced on impact, according to studies carried out by the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

The benefit is concrete on long, repeated hitting (an hour of bandeja drills).

The elbow stays calm, the forearm doesn’t heat up.

3-Layer MultiEva: Triple-Density Core

Sandwich structure: two rigid EVA layers on the outer faces for explosiveness, one softer EVA layer at the centre to absorb slower impacts.

Result: the reinforced 2026 core delivers the expected power on full hits while filtering out the pure cardboard-like feel of 100% EVA Black HR3 models.

CustomWeight: Up to +12g and ±1cm of Adjustable Balance

Four 3g gel plates, sold separately, let you add up to 12g of mass and shift the balance by around 1cm.

Players can push the offensive signature even further, or slightly lower the balance for better handling.

Note: the plates aren’t included in the original box.

➡️Check out our comparison of the best padel rackets 2026.

Vertex 05 2026 vs Vertex 05 GEO (Pablo Cardona)

The GEO uses the Xplo shape (angular diamond) with a 541cm² hitting surface, the largest Bullpadel has ever produced.

3K carbon (less reactive, more comfortable) instead of 12K.

Same 370g weight, but a 258mm balance (more towards the handle).

Choose it if you’re looking to build the point.

The classic 05 stays sharper for finishing at the smash.

Vertex 05 2026 vs Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum by Agustin Tapia (Review)

Two left-side signature rackets: world No. 1 (Tapia) versus top 15 (Tello).

Pure diamond shape too.

Key differences: the Nox offers a crisper touch and a slightly stiffer frame.

The Vertex 05 delivers more aerodynamics (+23% measured) and a more advanced vibration-absorption system (Ease Vibe 49%).

Choose the Nox if you like a pure, crisp touch; choose the Vertex 05 if you want a faster swing on high balls.

➡️Budget alternative for left-side players: Kuikma Hybrid Pro at Decathlon (review)

Vertex 05 2026 vs Adidas Metalbone 3.5 (Ale Galan)

The Metalbone 3.5 remains the benchmark for attacking left-side players.

Different spine technology (Spine Bridge vs CurvAktiv).

Metalbone 3.5 balance: 270mm, so even more head-heavy than the Vertex 05 (263mm).

The Metalbone 3.5 delivers more raw inertia, the Vertex 05 delivers more precision on placed shots thanks to the stiffened 2026 frame.

The Metalbone wins on power-to-price ratio, the Vertex 05 wins on onboard technology.

My Final Verdict on the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026

Buy it if you’re a left-side attacking player, level 5 or above, looking to finish points at the smash and bandeja.

The Vertex 05 2026 delivers exactly what Juan Tello expects from his signature racket.

Stiffened frame, committed head-heavy balance at 263mm, Air Power and CurvAktiv technologies measured by Bullpadel and confirmed on court.

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 earns its 8.5/10 for players who match the target profile. Outside that profile, look elsewhere.

Look elsewhere if you’re a defensive right-side player, level 4 or below, or if you’re after pure versatility.

The Vertex 05 GEO, Vertex 05 Hybrid or Vertex 05 CMF will suit these profiles better.

Your Questions About the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026

Is the Vertex 05 2026 Suitable for a Beginner?

No. Level 5 minimum recommended.

The limited sweet spot and the 263mm head-heavy balance penalise players without clean technique.

For a beginner, look at the Vertex 05 CMF, the Vertex 05 Hybrid or the Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid (more accessible).

➡️Also see my review of the Head Speed Motion 2025 racket, less demanding.

What’s the Difference Between the Vertex 05 and the Vertex 04 2025?

3 major changes:

  1. head-heavy balance 263mm vs 251mm (+12mm towards the head)
  2. stiffened frame for more precision,
  3. increased inertia.

The 2026 05 version is clearly more powerful than the 2025 04 version: sharper, less versatile!

Which Version Should You Choose in the 2026 Vertex Range?

5 versions:

  1. Vertex 05 classic (pure power, left-side player level 5+)
  2. Vertex 05 GEO (Xplo shape, 541cm² surface, more forgiving)
  3. Vertex Hybrid (teardrop shape, balanced, level 4-6)
  4. Vertex 05 CMF (Fibrix, comfort, increased forgiveness)
  5. Vertex 05 W (women’s, Delfina Brea).

Depending on your playing profile:

  1. Control profile or a less powerful arm: Hybrid or CMF
  2. Pure aggressor profile: classic.

Is the Vertex 05 2026 Suitable for Players Prone to Epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow)?

Best avoided by at-risk players, as it’s fairly uncomfortable.

The stiffness of the 12K frame and the 263mm head-heavy balance increase the load on the forearm.

Prefer the Vertex 05 CMF (Fibrix, softer) or the Bullpadel Wonder (balanced, forgiving, versatile).

What Is the Price of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026?

Bullpadel’s recommended price: €339.90.

Price at Padel Nuestro: £290.85.

Note: the case and the CustomWeight plates are sold separately.

Which Pro Player Uses the Vertex 05?
