The Pretoria P1 2026<\/strong> will take place from Sunday, July 26<\/strong>, to Sunday, August 2, 2026<\/strong>. Qualifying begins on July 26, and the final draw for the men\u2019s tournament starts in the late afternoon on Monday, July 27. <\/p>\n\n

The South African event was originally scheduled as a P2-level tournament on the calendar. It was reclassified as a P1 event<\/strong> following the cancellation of the Doha Major, which nearly doubles the points at stake in the rankings: 1,000 points for the winner instead of 500. <\/p>\n\n
